We are looking for Trustees to join us, ideally from a Human Resources background to compliment the skills of our existing board.
developmentplus is a charity based in Lincoln with over 27 years’ experience of working alongside disadvantaged and vulnerable people within Lincolnshire. We work alongside people in their community, facilitating their involvement in decisions that affect their lives, supporting them to identify and develop initiatives that they feel will help improve their quality of life.
Our aim is to build a future where every person thrives, and no one just survives.
If you want to play a pivotal role in the life changing work we do here at developmentplus, and can spare up to 2 days a month to volunteer with us, this could be the role for you.
We particularly welcome applications from:
- Underrepresented groups including women and people from Black, Asian or minority ethnic backgrounds
- People from marginalised groups including those from the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities or who otherwise face challenges
- Individuals with knowledge or lived experience of any of the social issues we support
- People with less experience but a keen enthusiasm and commitment to our aims
