Safeguarding Statement

developmentplus is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing and human rights of children and adults enabling them to live free from harm, abuse, neglect and expect all employees to share this commitment.

All employees must be mindful of their responsibilities to safeguard children and adults in any activity performed on behalf of developmentplus in line with the relevant legislation and statutory guidance. All employees must ensure they adhere to developmentplus’ policies on safeguarding children and adults and comply with local safeguarding procedures.

All new staff are expected to undertake the Lincolnshire Adult Safeguarding Board safeguarding training as part of their induction to understand and recognise the signs of harm, abuse and neglect and know how to raise concerns to the relevant body or person.  Following this all employees must keep up to date with safeguarding knowledge and skills by undertaking relevant training provided by developmentplus.
