Harriet Merry is an illustrative artist printmaker based near Derby and you can find her work on Instagram as harrytoady. She was on Sky’s portrait artist of the year in 2022 where her collage portrait of jazz pianist Alexis French was his artists pick.
On this course Harriet will help you to create a self-portrait using collage papers and contemporary collage techniques. She’s fun, knowledgeable and works with all levels of ability.
This is such an accessible course for anyone to try so don’t be intimidated by thinking it’s all about being good at drawing or painting. You will paint your own collage papers and experiment with collage techniques so you have a unique contemporary portrait by the end of the course.
