On Thursday 31 March 2022, most of the team from developmentplus spent the morning at Doddington Hall, home of the current High Sheriff of Lincolnshire, Claire Birch. Claire presented the whole team with a High Sheriff’s Award ‘In Recognition of Great and Valuable Service to the Community’. Each member of the team also received a High Sheriff Award pin badge. This was one of Claire’s final acts as High Sheriff as she comes to the end of her year in the role.
Claire wanted to thank the team for the hard work they have undertaken supporting people through developmentplus’ various projects, particularly over the last two years which has been a difficult time for everyone due to the pandemic.
Over coffee and cake the team were able to tell Claire a bit more about all the projects that are currently running. It was also an exciting opportunity for the group to hear stories about Claire’s wonderful home, where her family have lived for over 400 years.
We were then able to enjoy a wander around the fabulous gardens, which looked beautiful despite the horrible weather, before heading back to work.
